Jax created a curriculum, helped organize and execute regional training from 2015 to the present.

She has been involved in cannabis law reform since 2005 when she first started volunteering with Texas NORML. After serving in multiple positions, Jax became the Executive Director for Texas NORML, the Austin Chapter of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML) in 2015. She innovated the first-ever cannabis-centric Voter's Guide in 2012 and continues to prepare the Texas NORML Voters Guide for each election season.

In her tenure, Jax has participated in many panel discussions and speaking engagements including events at the LBJ Library, and was a co-keynote at the Drug Impact Conference. Jax has also been quoted in the Texas Tribune, Forbes, and every major news outlet in Texas. She works closely with coalition partners and many other cannabis groups.
